KCSM 4062 and 4099 then back onto the train and will head South without helpers.

Description:  NS Southbound Intermodal Train 219 ( Atlanta, Ga, to Meridian, Ms. ) has swapped crews at 20th Street in Irondale, Al., but it would be a few hours before departure due to engine problems on KCSM 4062. This consist wound up being ruined by a NS Trash 9W, so I was very pleased to have gotten a shot before NS ruined the consist. This train runs on KCS as I- ATDA ( Atlanta, Ga. to Dallas, Tx. ) between Meridian, Ms. & Dallas, Tx.

Description:  My friend and fellow RRPA contributor David Sommer was in town for a visit on his way to the west coast, and was hoping for some good KCS photos. The prize was a southbound road train with a KCS leader in good sun. So of course, it rained most of the first day he was here, and we saw only this northbound. An 89 car H train rolls past the signal at the south end of Dalby.
