Here is page two of a two-page article entitled "Progress On The Pennsy: TrucTrain." It was published originally in the January-February 1964 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 21. Tipton. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Tipton, Pennsylvania, on 05 January 1964. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #2516, #2220, and two other units whose numbers were not recorded. #2516. is a GF-25 built by General Electric in 1962 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2220 is an EF-22 built by EMD in 1963 and rated at 2,200 horsepower. They are pulling a 51-car eastbound TrucTrain.

WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took while riding in a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train from Harrisburg to Altoona during August of 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engine #2516 and three other units whose numbers are not recorded. #2516 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in 1962 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. They are pulling an eastbound TrucTrain near Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Note the fisherman standing between the tracks!

Brickyard. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train at the Brickyard Crossing in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 18 July 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #2516, #2329, and #2370. #2516 is a GF-25 built by GE in 1962 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2329 and #2370 are EF-22's built by EMD in 1965 and rated at 2,200 horsepower each. They are pulling a 68-car westbound mixed-cargo freight train with caboose #477863. There are also two pushers on the end: PRR engines #6302 and #6307.
