Description:
Originally built as CM&StP 2-8-2 Mikado #8658 by Alco-Schenectady in March of 1919, it was later renumbered to MILW #361 in 1938, The loco served well until retirement in November of 1954. In this photo, it sits in the scrap line awaiting its turn with the scrapper's torch. No photogrpaher was listed for the photo. Specs - L3 Class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x32" cylinders, engine weight of 320,000 lb, tractive effort of 62,949 lb.
