PRR 2359, EF-25, 1965
Title:  PRR 2359, EF-25, 1965
Description:  Slope to Works. Here is an original photo that I took in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 6 June 1965. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2359 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EF-25's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #2359 was constructed in March of 1965. In this context, they're rockin' 'n' rollin' with a mixed-cargo freight train on its way up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. (#8 of 44)
