This caboose is painted in its original maroon and gray SAR livery. Cabooses are used as living quarters, usually for personnel on tasks away from home at places without suitable accommodation. Even though they are always painted in passenger car livery, they usually run as part of goods trains. Side B is the passage side and apart from the door at the vestibule at one end, this model also has a side door and a tool locker door on this side. |
