Meadows. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine Service Tracks at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey, on 19 September 1953. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) is PRR engine #4747 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. #4747 is a P-5A (Modified) (2-C-2) electric built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in March of 1935 and retired in April of 1962 after 27 years of faithful service.
