Description:  Agnes. Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in late June of 1972. Shown here (L to R) is Penn Central engine #4257 and five more GM-EMD E8A diesels passing Altoona's Passenger Trailer. They're on their way to surmounting the East Slope of the Allegheny Mountains with a mail train bound for Pittsburgh and points West. It's one of the few trains moving in the wake of Hurricane Agnes. In the distance are the 7th Street Bridges.

Description:  Lorenz. Here is a nighttime time exposure via Bob Lorenz that was taken at the Passenger Station in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in 1968. Shown here (L to R) is Penn Central engine #4258 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #4258 is an E8A constructed for the Pennsylvania Railroad as number "5798" in June of 1952, rated at 2,250 horsepower, and renumbered "4258" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Description:  DMP-2. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Lima, Ohio, in May of 1968. Shown here (L to R) is Penn Central engine #4265 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are E8A's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #4265 was built as Pennsylvania Railroad number "5765" in March of 1952 and renumbered "4265" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger.
