RIO GRANDE 5505/5394/5503.
Description:
Union Pacific had just bought the SP/SSW/D&RGW Combination just seven months before when Rio Grande SD50 No.5505 was sitting and waiting for a new crew to take it's train to Roper Yard in Salt Lake City. While it's now a Union Pacific train at this time,Southern Pacific practices were still in effect However,That would change in just a month's time.
