Album Info:In June of 2009 I stopped by the Utah Railway shops in Martin, Utah. I met the Chief Mechanical Officer of the line (unfortunately I can't remember his name), who offered me a tour of the shops. During our conversation, I happened to mention the Utah Central. "Well," he said, "You might as well give me a kick in the face and say Union Pacific!" Shows you how much the ol' "We Will Devour" route is respected by shortlines. Since being purchased by the Gennesee & Wyoming, two units have been repainted in the G&W orange and black scheme. Personally, I hate it, and the CMO agreed. According to him, the paint crew only reluctantly covers up the old red and grey paint, which is what makes the UTAH the UTAH.
