These photos are part of a series I have started on this website that I categorize by year and volume. The Volume 1 collection, from 2015, features the arrival of one of East Penn Railroad's brand new GP38-3s, no. 2800 on the Octoraro, Wilmington & Northern Branch. Her sister unit, no. 2801, was delivered to the Lancaster and Northern Branch (LANO) a few days earlier.

Chadds Ford Trestle (ex. PRR Octoraro Branch)
Description:
The Chadds Ford Trestle is now owned by SEPTA,. The remaining parts of the Octoraro Branch Line between Wawa, PA and Chadds Ford, PA have been completely dismantled. However, it is still possible to find rails and spikes in the ground leading to Wawa Junction.
